BCS Middle School Wins 2011 PSIA State Sweeepstates
Scores highest overall point total at PSIA State AA Tournament
Twenty-six elementary and middle school BCS students, competing in 32 events at the PSIA state AA tournament on Saturday, April 30, won the first-place middle school trophy for Brentwood Christian and scored more points overall than any school.
The middle school team scored an amazing 156 points, 59 more than Lubbock All Saints, who took second place in middle school. The elementary team added twelve more to bring the school to a total of 168 points. Second in overall points was Austin St. Theresa, with 164.33 points.
A total of 253 schools participated in Private School Interscholastic Association AA competition this year, though not all had students advance to the state meet.
