Inspiring Hearts and Minds
The Center for Science and the Arts is the final project in Brentwood Christian School’s 10-year campus plan. The Iva Lea Worley Barton Theater in the heart of the center will host theatrical productions, concerts, lectures, chapels, and much, much more in the decades to come. Many students’ fondest memories of BCS will include special moments in the theater.
Robust academic programs in the performing arts are essential to the highest quality liberal arts educational experience. An inviting, intimate location to showcase such programs and allow BCS to serve students and community at the highest level is equally essential. That’s why building the Center for Science and the Arts – creating indelible memories for future generations of students – is central to the Inspiring Hearts and Minds “Take A Seat” campaign.
This 390-seat auditorium will feature a stage worthy of 21st Century theatrical and musical productions, state-of-the art sound system, seating with barrier-free views, and a beautiful lobby. The Center for Science and the Arts is expected to be complete for productions in the spring of 2011.
Put a lasting mark on the new Iva Lea Worley Barton Theater by putting a name on a seat! Honor your child or grandchild or someone else special. Memorialize a loved one. Recognize a family member. Remember your year of graduation. Pay tribute to an influential member of the faculty or staff. Leave a legacy for generations to come! Purchasing a seat plaque in the Iva Lea Worley Barton Theater is a thoughtful and
enduring way to honor a loved one.
