At Brentwood Christian High School, we offer more than just an education; we provide a comprehensive, Christ-centered experience that prepares students for success in college and beyond. Our high school curriculum emphasizes academic excellence, spiritual growth, and leadership development in a supportive community.

Why Choose Brentwood for High School?

Academic Excellence

Our rigorous academic programs consistently exceed national and state averages, with students achieving high SAT and ACT scores and excelling in college preparation. Brentwood has won the TAPPS Academic Competition 10 out of the past 11 years, emphasizing critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration to prepare students for success beyond high school.

Christ-Centered Education

We teach all subjects through a Christian worldview, placing God’s presence at the center of every aspect of learning. This commitment reinforces Christian values from home to school, fostering both academic and spiritual growth and preparing students for a life of purpose.

Building a Strong Foundation for Success

As we lead students to love God and nurture them in a Christ-centered academic environment that emphasizes excellence, students receive individualized and small group instruction that allows them to develop a strong academic and Christian foundation.

Academic Excellence

High school students can take Advanced Placement (AP) classes in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Government, and English.

Artistic Expression

We believe the fine arts are a beautiful expression of worship, so we offer exciting avenues for students to explore their artistic interests, including drama, music, dance, and visual arts.

Competition with a Higher Purpose

Our student athletes grow their faith through fierce athletic competition. Sports teams at BCS are a positive space for spiritual and emotional growth.

Leadership Development

Students are offered leadership that will encourage them to grow and mature. As they learn from the challenges they face today, they will have the experience to lead tomorrow.

Faith-based Learning

Biblical Worldview taught in all classes

As high school students learn, they develop in the knowledge of God. 2 Peter 1:5-8.

“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Encouraging Excellence in Our High School Students

Brentwood Christian High School students come to school every day ready to learn. They work together to solve their problems through God’s Word and Christ’s example. They’re respectful to their teachers, the staff, their parents, and their peers, and they do their best to do what is right.

“When we were looking for a school, we had two main priorities in mind. First a God-centered environment and second high academic standards. We found both at Brentwood; then we found community, grace, love, laughter, and lifelong friends. BCS is all we wanted in a school and everything our child needed to thrive.”

Frequent ask qustions

We know there are a lot of questions when it comes to your child’s education and we are here to help provide more information so you can choose the best academic environment for your child!

Applications will become available for the upcoming school year around the beginning of October, which will be the best time to apply for potential availability within a grade. There is no deadline to apply to Brentwood. Instead, we offer rolling admissions, which allows you to apply throughout the year. In the event there is not an immediate opening for the grade needed, the student will be placed into a waiting pool. In this case, any spots that become available will be offered to a student who has completed the application process and has been given an acceptance. If a spot does not become available, our admissions team will reach out to you regarding rolling your application forward for the following school year in hopes a spot will be available then.

Our admissions team will be here to walk you through the admissions process! The admissions process is where we gather information regarding the applicant to determine if the student would be a good fit for our school. This process includes an online application, which includes transcripts, recommendations, and other information, an admissions assessment, and a family interview with the principal where he/she will make his/her acceptance decision either at the end of the interview or within two business days of the interview. Upon acceptance, we will then gather a copy of the immunization records, a completed Health Examination Form, and TAPPS sports physical for students entering 5th grade and above.

Factors that are considered in determining the acceptance of a student include grades on report cards, behavior records from the previous school, recommendations from the referral sources provided, assessment scores from the admissions testing, and student interaction during the family interview.

Yes, we are happy to offer need-based financial aid to our current and existing families. The family must have submitted an admissions application prior to completing the financial aid application for a financial aid scholarship. We also offer an automatic sibling discount to our families with multiple students!
