Running of the Bears is one of Brentwood Christian School’s major fundraising events. It brings together our entire community—students, families, and staff—for a day of fun, fellowship, and running. Every Brentwood student is expected to participate in Running of the Bears and has a fundraising target to meet. Student and family fundraising goals are listed in the table below.
Students can view their personal event dashboard showing the progress of their fundraising efforts.
Student Dashboards: All students and parents can access their personal dashboard using the link emailed out from the Development Office.

Buy-Out Option: Drop off a check at the Finance Office or pay directly on your student’s page to complete a buy-out.
Bear Free Day Goal: All secondary students must raise $250 to earn Bear Free Day on April 24, 2026.

Every participant will receive a Running of the Bears t-shirt to commemorate their participation.
Students who meet their fundraising goals within a specific time range will be eligible for prizes, including the “Bear Free Day” – a day of excused absence from school awarded to secondary students who reach their targets in time.
Money raised at Running of the Bears directly supports the school and classroom experience. This event helps keep Brentwood affordable by providing textbooks, paying for utilities, and covering operational costs.
