TEFA provides parents of students in non-public Texas schools a publicly-funded, government-authorized savings account with restricted, but multiple, uses for their children’s education. The TEFA program will be administered on behalf of the State by a Certified Educational Assistance Organization (CEAO), selected by the Comptroller.
Are you seeking a nurturing, close-knit environment where your child can thrive academically, feel valued, and develop a love for learning—all while being affordable? That’s what sets Brentwood Christian School apart!
With Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) starting in 2026, many families will be eligible to apply and take advantage of a top-notch, Christ-centered education in Austin, TX such as Brentwood Christian School.
Our tuition rate ranks among the lowest in Austin and is the lowest among all schools with comparable enrollment numbers. Based on early TEFA information, many families could qualify to have tuition totally covered under the new state program.
With the most expansive Fine Arts program in Texas, one campus for all of our EL 3/4 through 12th grade students & a mission to lead students to love God and become servants of Christ after graduation, BCS is one of the premier options for families in Central Texas.
Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock, left, visited Brentwood Christian School recently as part of the TPSA Mini Forum on Educational Savings Accounts, answering questions from local private school leaders and helping to lay the groundwork for this first attempt at universal school choice in Texas.
