Football Update

October 3rd was our first home game and our Senior Night! The Varsity Bears came out on top in a nail-biter vs. Brownsville St. Joseph with a final score of 21-18. Leading the Bears on offense was Jr. QB Keller Jackson, he was 11-19 passing for 95 yards, had 12 carries for 202 yards, and 3 touchdowns. Cason Best was the leading receiver with 5 catches. 

On October 9th our Varsity Bears played against St. Michaels. The Bears fought hard and gave a great effort but fell short to the Crusaders. 

On October 16th our Varsity Bears played at home against St Anthony. The Bears played great defense and shut out the St. Anthony offense. The leading tackler was Aaron Lilya who had some big hits. Zack Billante had 6 catches for 216 yards and 2 touchdowns. Conner Rohlack stepped up in the second half at the QB position and threw 2 touchdowns. He was 3-4 for 89 yards, Keller Jackson also was 6-18 for 175 yards passing. The offensive line did a great job pass blocking. The Bears won 24-0!

On October 23rd our Varsity Bears played against John Paul II. Conner Rohlack and Baley Cordes both had a great game on the ground with 93 yards each. Conner had 2 touchdowns.  Cason Best led the defense with 17 tackles. The Bears gave great effort but fell short with a final score of 34-14.


Cross Country Update

On October 17th our cross country teams competed at Marble Falls Faith Academy. All teams ran very well with every runner beating their current season PR. Our Lady Bears won out of 5 teams

Middle School Bears & Lady Bears:

On October 24th BCS hosted the TAPPS District 3-5A meet and the CAPPS Championship meet. Our Varsity LAdy Bears placed 2nd Overall and our Varsity Bears Placed 6th. For the 7th/8th grade races, we did not have enough runners for a complete team but we did have the 1st and 4th place runner for the girls. In the 5th/6th division, our Bears placed 4th overall and our BCS had the first place runner for the boys and the girls!
