1/15/2018 – Varsity Boys Soccer team won 7-0 against SJD.
Only up 1-0 at halftime, BCS scored 6 in the 2nd half. 3 of 2nd half goals came in the 1st 5 minutes. Goal Keeper Saves: Patrick Hanrahan (Sr.) – 2, Asher Gentry (Fr.) -2. Goals: Zach Myers (Soph.) – 4, Riley Walker (Jr.) – 1, Jackson Baird (So.) – 1, Justin Park (Jr. – 1. Assists : Andrew – 1, Frank – 1, Zach – 1, David – 1, Jackson – 1.
1/18/2018 – Varsity Boys Soccer team won 2-1 against #3 Veritas Academy.
0-0 Halftime Score. 5 minutes into 2nd half, Senior Luke Tilley scored on a header off a 30 yard free kick/assist from Sophomore Frank Guerrero. Veritas tied the game 10 minutes later. With 17 minutes left, Sophmore Zach Myers scored on on break away goal (Assist by Frank Guerrero) to seal the win.
1/23/2018 – Varsity Girls Soccer won 7-0 against JP2.
Just another great game by the girls!
1/25/2018 – Varsity Girls Soccer team won 8-2 against Boerne Geneva.
Great ball movement by midfield and forwards with 4 different scorers.
Basketball
1/09/2018 – Varsity Boys Basketball Vs. Marble Falls Faith.
We used a fast start to pull ahead early and never looked back. Micah Best scored 11 of his 13 points in that first quarter and we were leading 17-6 at the end of the 1st quarter. Nathan Ging took over the second half scoring 15 of his 24 points in the second half. Aedan Acheson also contributed 13 points as we won 63-44 in a good district road win.
1/12/18 – Varsity Boys Basketball Vs. Giddings State
After a slow start, the Bears were down 21-18 at the end of the first. After a better defensive 2nd quarter, the Bears pulled away and led the remainder of the game. Micah Best scored 14 of his 16 points in the first half and Aedan Acheson picked up the scoring in the second half scoring 11 of his 16 in the last 16 minutes. Connor Troutman added 14 points hitting 4 3 pointers.
1/18/18 – Varsity Boys Basketball Vs. Texas School for the Deaf
After an ugly first quarter that saw the Bears down 7-8 after a Nathan Ging buzzer-beater from 35 feet, the Bears rallied for a 22-point 2nd quarter in what would end up being a 14-point victory. The Bears were lead by Ging, Aedan Acheson, and Daniel Hickl who all scored 16 points each. This win put the Bears in first place in the district with a 4-0 record.”
1/18/2018 – JV Girls Basketball team won 27-14 against TSD
Alyssa McLain scored 11 and Addie McDaniel scored 9. The JV girls remain undefeated.
